Now this is the 720nm filter and custom white balance I will set to a gray card.

Let’s take a few pictures without the 720nm filter and see how it looks with the custom white balance that is already set.

Here is the 590nm infrared filter used. No matter what I have tried the custom white balance was not accepted. So, most likely we can’t set custom white balance on Nikon D3100 with our 590nm infrared filter.
We need to take RAW images and set custom white balance in Photoshop.
